Unit 5 hires three teachers to keep class sizes down
Unit 5 has rehired three extra teachers to help alleviate class sizes at Cedar Ridge Elementary School. The district rehired one kindergarten teacher, a combined first and second grade teacher and another split 3rd and 4th grade teacher. Superintendent Gary Niehaus says some of the class sizes at the school had a little more than 30 students.
